Filmstar Entertainment d.o.o. General Terms of Business
For all prices, please contact our offices. The prices that you will get are in EUR and will be calculated according to the NBS exchange rate of RSD. Goods should be collected at the lab address: Filmstar Ent., Veselina Masleše 56, 21000 Novi Sad (SERBIA).
Orders shall be in written form and have to include the necessary instructions and technical information. All products/services are executed by Filmstar Ent. according to these General Terms of Business.
The Customer warrants that he has been given consent from all copyright and photographic owner rights by the owner regarding all material supplied to Filmstar Ent. to carry out the order.
The material supplied by the Customer must be packed safely to avoid exposure to light or any other damages. All packages must be marked with the type of material and the required treatment.
Delivery dates negotiated with Filmstar Ent. are not generally binding. Filmstar Ent. will, of course, try to meet the requested delivery date, but will not be liable for delays or failures arising from any cause or causes beyond its control such as governmental act, war, strike, earthquake, flood, storm, fire, fault or irregularity of raw material, false or late delivery from the supplier, embargo, unpredictable breakdown of machinery, failure of power supply or similar incidents. Thus the Customer may have to accept late delivery due to the items mentioned above. Filmstar Ent. will not be liable for any damage caused either by late delivery or other damage caused by force major.
All material is treated and stored at the Customer’s sole risk. Filmstar Ent. shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever incurred thereby, or by major force.
The Customer is advised to insure all the unexposed / exposed material delivered to Filmstar Ent. In case of damages on film stock the lab will cover no more than an equal amount with the value of the unexposed raw material.
This exemption from liability shall not comprise cases of malice, prepense or gross negligence by Filmstar Ent. . The Customer shall examine the delivered goods immediately after delivery from Filmstar Ent. . Complaints shall be in written form within three days from delivery, complaints made after that period cannot be considered.
All intermediate material produced in the treatment of the consigned material shall remain the property of Filmstar Ent. unless otherwise has been agreed in advance in written. Filmstar Ent. shall have a lien on all consigned material and all material produced in conjunction therewith until full payment has been made for all claims that Filmstar Ent. may have on the owner of the material respectively on the Customer.
Filmstar Ent. will keep the project’s materials: negative, Internegative, Interpositive, optical sound, developed positive, film, tapes and other materials that belong to the project/client as long as the Filmstar Ent. services are performed.The material that has not been collected by the Customer within 30 days after written notice by Filmstar Ent. will be destroyed at the Customer’s cost. Filmstar Ent. shall not be liable for any loss or damage after written notification of the Customer. Filmstar Ent. performs exclusively lab, telecine and scanning services, it has no deposit spaces for long time storage, and also has no facilities to maintain and assure good conditions of deposit and storage for more than the duration of the service performed. Flat deal: Saturday extra charge 25% & Sunday extra charge 50%.
For services requested in less than 24 hours, will be an extra charge of 300 EURO for orders less than 500 meters per project. For emergency tests less than 300 meters (camera, steady, make-up, or any other kind of tests) there will be an additional charge of 250 EUR/test. Emergency is the situation when the time between the announcement of a job and the dead line to be solved by the lab is less than 24 hours. Each working step at Filmstar Ent. is recorded on work sheets, which is the base for the price calculation. Services that are given in “day” are based on an eight-hour day. Services to be calculated in meters are based on the metering devices incorporated in the equipment.
